I've been enjoying those bitters in strawberry drinks.  I did a strawberry-mint daiquiri with them last weekend (muddling strawberries, mint, some bitters, and a bit of simple syrup, straining, then stirring with white rum), and then a strawberry mint julep (macerating the berries in some sugar, mashing, then stirring

I've never had a Gimlet before, but that will be changing shortly.

I've got a batch of rhubarb bitters steeping as we speak.  I can definitely hook you up with a bottle when they're ready.

Thanks for the encouragement!  I've told myself that I'm not allowed to even think about whether I like it or not for six month.  I'm just going to add "going to the gym" to my routine, and in six months I can assess the situation.  Until then?  It's just something I do.  We'll see how that works out.

My mom is also awesome, and has encouraged my childlessness by making it clear that she has no interest at all in having grandkids.  She seems to be satisfied just with her cat grandkids.
