I kept starting novels and then wandering away from them, until I started up a hockey blog and used that as my writing outlet.  Now that hockey's gone (and never coming back?), I might have to start writing more unfinished, unfinishable novels again.  I know, that's an awesome story.

I felt the same way as a kid, and would always force myself to hastily eat the cheese off the top of the pizza first, then savor the delicious saucy crust once it was unburdened of its horrible cloak.  I've made my peace with cheese since, but I do still prefer a minimally-cheesed pizza as an adult.
