I don't know much about non-U.S. countries, and there may be situations in the U.S. in which this doesn't apply (for example, kids can talk to a school counselor before getting explicit parent consent).  I'm not an expert.  But I am pretty sure that with therapy, in anyplace where 18 is the age of medical consent,

Not Over Painful Experiences or anybody in a similar situation should also know that as a 17-year old, she's still legally a minor, and a shrink may be unable to guarantee full confidentiality until she is 18 because her parents are legally the clients of the therapist (as far as I can tell, this holds true in

And, um… Abraham Lincoln.

For some reason I can't flag this, but it's spam and it should get the hell off this obituary.

Special likes go to the Bringloidi reference, "probably sensing something," Barclay's unstable t-cells, Keiko, the Cardassian Interrogator, and whatever formatting weirdness is making me read this like a free verse poem.  *Edit, aw dang, now the formatting is fixed. Still good though.

I found a beat-up old paperback of that book at the tiny, tiny local library in the tiny, tiny town where my parents used to live.  It was amazing.  The internet has reached its purpose if I have now made contact with the another person who's read it.

I blanked completely and only managed to remember two shows.  Somebody needs to go through and vote for Game of Thrones a lot, like that one Republican did for C.J. on the West Wing.

On the commentary for Sherlock, the writers refer to the "hilariously suspiciously named Janus Cars," which is now my go to phrase for any use of the word "Janus."

Oh yeah, I definitely think Grindelwald and Hitler were associated and Dumbledore's fight with Grindelwald affected the events of Hitler's fall.  Didn't mean to imply otherwise.  I just meant they're not the same people— Dumbledore didn't wipe out Hitler and Grindelwald wasn't the Fuehrer of Muggle Germany.  HP

Well, that wasn't my quote, so I don't want to speak to that.  Personally I think Grimm CAN be a good show (and has been a good show), but I understand OP's frustration with this particular recurring bit.

I think I just noticed in watching the clip again that Bart's bag of popcorn may well have "POPCORN" written on it in finger-blood.  Not sure it was intentional but I'm going to go ahead and believe it.
