The Indiana side of my family calls everything coke, but I can see how that wouldn't fly in this context.

I saw this episode out of the blue, having no real knowledge of previous seasons, and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.  Is it worth going back and trying to catch up, or are there any crucial episodes to get before just jumping in?

Yay, someone else knows where Miami is!  I was just excited that they named it correctly.

I've said it before and I'll probably say it again: the Doctor visits mid-1800s Scotland, meets Dr. Joseph Bell and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and they happen to be played by Cumberbatch and Freeman.  Something happens that leads to Doyle's later obsession with the supernatural.  It could work!

Regarding lead charisma, I was wondering if I was crazy too!  I do think he's more interesting this time around, maybe because the character is more comfortable in his role as a Grimm and he doesn't have to play befuddled all the time.

Nick and Renard scenes are generally my favorite for this reason.  I know Nick has to figure it out eventually, but I hope this becomes even more convoluted with secrets within secrets.  Nobody knows a main character is a villain is way more fun than nobody knows the main character is a hero.

Ha, it's possible Grimm benefits from a lower degree of difficulty for me.  I appreciated that they established that they'll both not only be pursuing Adalind but doing it as police officers, running what they both know to be a relatively fake case.  There's been some boundary-crossing from both of them but they've

I could have sworn Mark Pellegrino was Matthew Davis, I was all excited about Alaric arriving on the show.  Anyhow, I hope he pops back in from time to time.

The scene with Nick and Renard talking in circles about Adalind was pretty great, I thought.  I hope they have more to do with each other in the future.

I would rather Juliette (quickly) become a Scooby, but yes, it's exciting to see (finally!) the gang start to come together.
