I'd agree—I've fallen far, far behind in these, but after seeing the first few sentences of this review I pulled this up because I've never seen this episode before. I enjoyed it greatly with no idea of the real context. The later seasons are intimidating for me, but this was a great reminder of how good it can be…

I don't know why I noticed the gun is held left-handed, but I looked it up, and it turns out (according to .5 seconds of research) that Isaac Newton was indeed left-handed. I learn so much from these newswire photoshops.

Eh, you're not the only one. This makes sense to me. There might be weapons that are better at killing, but Klingons are more about combat than death.

I might be lonely on this, and that's ok, but I really hated Waltz. I had high expectations for it when I saw the setup, and I was just really saddened by the direction they took Dukat. Traumatized-crazy-evil is my least favorite evil path. Dukat was evil when he was manipulative and dehuman(sentient?)izing and…

I would never have noticed it if I hadn't heard the buzz around here. I don't remember names very well and I would never have thought about the change from old Klingon to new Klingon makeup.

Me too. That's the first book I ever read where I was just angry at the author at the end and didn't blame myself for not getting it. In general, I am a pretty placid "let's see what we can find in this piece of art that's edifying and good" person, but Wicked the book is where I draw the line. Such a waste of a…

I think "true" is the wrong word. I'm not sure there's a right word.

The Reavers are possibly the scariest villains on TV for me. When that clangy music starts up I just want to crawl through the back of the couch. A lot of it goes back to that line being just so straightforward, simple and horrific.
