He had a good poker face about shooting the cabbie.  But yes, I think it's a safer move by Sherlock to keep him in the dark if he wants to keep him safe.  Still, I think calling and saying he was a fraud was a way of tipping John off that something was amiss.

Right, and "Jim" especially thinks she's useless.  I wonder if Sherlock's last-second realization (really, prompted by her) that she matters is what saves him.  He did do some prompting up on the rooftop to milk Moriarty for the names of exactly who "everybody" is, so my (completely unique, I know) theory right now is

I guess I kind of read that look as combination of both scenarios— he knows it's not Bran and Rickon, but he also wants to convince the people that it is…but now he may as well have killed them horribly at this point, because all the people who love them believe he did.  I thought it was the reaction of the Maester

I thought it was established when we met her that she seems high-born.  It seems like she could be wanting to hide something without being a spy per se, like Arya is now.

Revenge was implied, but I kind of thought she might be trying to get back in touch with Nick, and to try and blackmail him into somehow reversing what he did to her.  It sure seemed like something you'd do if you wanted to get Nick really mad and trying to find you.  It would have been nice to have some monologuing,
