You're right, but I'd still hate to see her die. She and Jeremy were the only members of their family still alive at this point, and it just seems incredibly sad that Jeremy would end the series completely alone.
I'm not saying he shouldn't protect Adalind. Nick protects everybody, even the "innocent" Varme Tyv who attacked him during their Hibernaculum. I'm only saying that before accepting her word that the baby is his (which is what set Juliette off) he needs medical confirmation.
This is true. She cut Monroe's great-grandmother's head off and put it on a stick!
"What Nick experienced is having sex with his girlfriend"
I question whether Rosalee has ever been paid by Portland PD for the many potions and other concoctions she's put together to solve crimes for them. She and Monroe are part-time detectives (or at least consultants) at this point — and put their lives in danger every week. Renard needs to put them on the payroll!
Good point, although I seem to remember that Aunt Marie was shunned by the other Grimms when she was engaged to Farley Kolt (the Steinadler). And of course Josh's dad Rolek knew about Nick and traveled to find him.
This has seriously turned into Grimm's version of the Zapruder film…( :
I think it's interesting that everyone is accepting Adalind's word that this is Nick's baby. Adalind lies all the time! She tried to lie to Kenneth about the baby's paternity and he set her straight right quick. Yes, we viewers know it's true but why doesn't Nick demand a paternity test before he puts Bud in danger…
Thanks—it sounds interesting. I'll check it out on demand…
Yeah, we never saw that Marie was hunting her. Renard told Adalind to kill Marie because of what he thought she would tell Nick about the Resistance. Adalind was sleeping with Renard (as was her mom) and made stupid choices. But Marie and Adalind had no prior beef.
…And she put Juliette into a coma, and raped Nick…
Putting Juliette into a (possibly fatal) coma was not on Renard's orders. As for Diana, although no one seems to want to acknowledge this she is Sean's baby, too — and he made a decision for his daughter based on wanting to keep her safe. Why is Nick more at fault for this than the baby's father?
Nick *never* has a problem putting his unpowered Wesen friends in danger. This is why he needs a full-time super sidekick to protect people when he can't be there. Writers, you killed off Henrietta, now bring back Trubel full time! There's plenty of room in Nick's house now…
"Adrian Paul never did much for me"
Which makes me wonder…after Juliette threw her against a wall and threatened her husband with Nick's gun is there ANY possible way that Rosalee would trust her again? I know Nick's still in love with her but I can't imagine any of the Scoobies ever coming within ten feet of her again.
Yeah, we discussed this again downthread, but the exact words (as per closed-captioning) were:
LOL…and that is why I watch all sci-fi/genre shows with the closed-captioning on—I miss too much otherwise!
Totally off-topic, but if you like the concept of immortals there was a really good TV series from the 90's called "Highlander," starring Adrian Paul as a 400-year-old Scotsman. If you have a free afternoon, I think it's on Netflix.
"Like Monroe, hugely relieved that they saved as much of the
supercool Grimm trinkets and books as they did."
