I would agree with the Friday WoT option, Evil Lincoln — and thanks again for stepping up and being the resident Grimmeister on the AVC. And great recap!

My beef with the Wesen Council is, where the hell were they when the Wesenrein were setting up their reign of terror? They send bounty hunters to kill random fortune tellers yet stay quiet when gangs of neo-Nazi Wesen are burning other Wesen openly in public parks?

I was watching the opening titles too, and was a little annoyed at how prominent the Keys were in them — especially since that plotline has barely moved all season.

Agreed — how is what the Wesen Council ordered here (at least in the case of the evil pimp — the fortune tellers were harmless) all that different from what Grimms traditionally do? It's not as if Nick hasn't killed numerous bad Wesen and shrugged about it afterward…

I have to say, I loved when Nick emailed the dead bounty hunter photo back to the Council. It brought back memories of when he sent back the Reapers' heads in that box. Instead of trying to off him, I'm waiting for an episode when they summon Nick to a new Council of Walenstadt and negotiate a new agreement to work

If Juliette is becoming Willow, does that mean that Trubel is secretly Dawn 2.0, i.e., Nick's sister? [Long-time Buffy geek here]

But then maybe the spell is specific to Nick's blood, and Trubel's blood can reverse it…(not that I want to — Juliexenbiest is the shit).

Oh I yelled "Fuck yeah, Juliette," several times tonight, and "fuck yeah, Grimm writers," when Henrietta told her that she was a Hexenbiest permanently, and then again when they hashtagged "#BiestFight" at the end. I am LOVING this plotline…

You know, I remember years ago thinking that Juliette's vet training was going to be super useful once she became aware of Wesens — given that they retain animal traits in their woged states. But that never happened, and now I wonder if Wesen would be offended if she even brought that up. Like, "I know I *look* like

It's possible Hexenbiests may not be witches, as we know them (even though "Hexe" means witch, in German). But that would mean that any character in the Grimm world could do spells, if they studied long enough — which could be true, although I think the show has implied that only HB's have the inherent ability to

Yet Renard never F) tells Nick or anyone else anything about the larger picture with the Royals and the Resistance! That's not exactly good leadership, IMO.

All good points. However, it seems like most of us who now enjoy Renard have forgotten that he gave the orders to kill Aunt Marie back in Season 1. (Can't remember if Nick definitely realized that.) But yeah, now Nick is "his" Grimm.

And that was the best decision the show has made so far…Angélica Celaya is a definite upgrade, IMO.

See, I agree with you, and Nick doesn't seem like the "leader" of the group, because…the writers don't write him that way! Even though Buffy also had a large ensemble cast, the writers made sure that she led the missions.

Depending on how old your nieces are, the DC animated Wonder Woman movie a few years ago was fantastic…

"And by "magically", you mean "sexually", right?"

I need to go back and rewatch the earlier seasons…knowing what we know now about Renard working with the Resistance, does his earlier "villainous" behavior still make sense?

You're absolutely right that both Nick & Hank were much more ambivalent about taking the law into their own hands at the beginning. (Renard never seemed to have a problem with it, though.) However, Hank's little "la-de-dah, lady did us a favor by murdering him" comment even seemed a little heartless to *me,* let

Sensorsweep, I only disagree in that I really like Nick and see the potential in him — but the writers frustrate me at every turn. There are so many main characters in this show now, and so many people who know about Grimms and Wesen, that the *actual* Grimm has been pushed into the background.

I'll agree with your comment if you promise *never* to bring up The Strain on this thread again…( :
