Right? I still don't know why the Travelers are set up as the season's Big Bad. Other than possessing a few townspeople they hardly seem to pose a huge threat to non-Supernaturals. If they defeat the witches' spell they will no longer cause natural disasters when they congregate, which is good for us, right?

THANK YOU. Given how many people both brothers have killed (who had relationships with the other sibling) why is this any different? Enzo kidnapped Elena and broke her neck. Stefan rescues her and stops Enzo — who, as you said, kills himself. Why are they hiding this from Damon — to keep him from going Dark?

I agree, and I was SO happy when a gay supernatural was introduced. But then he turned out to be dull, terribly-acted Luke and now I'm ready for his (soon, I'm sure) demise. Why couldn't Enzo have been Damon's hot gay best friend, instead of yet another poorly thought out vague threat to the core trio?

Why does Bonnie need to be "put in her place"? She rarely gets a plot of her own independent of Elena and finally has a BF (granted, Jeremy is two years younger and in high school, but whatevs). Leave Bonnie Bennett alone! ( :

One of the best things about TVD the past few seasons has been the enduring friendship between Caroline and Stephan (as opposed to the constant "will they or won't they" crap in every other show). I hope the writers resist the obvious and allow a loving, supportive non-sexual relationship between a heterosexual male

Right? Many shows are (rightfully) slammed for being afraid to kill off characters, but TVD goes the opposite way — every interesting character outside of the core group gets killed immediately. How can we "form a connection" with any new character when we know they'll soon be dead? RIP Lexi, Alaric, Jesse, Aaron,

Completely agree, but my only worry is that this season finale was SO perfect that next year already feels anticlimactic. And if next season is the final season, how could they possibly do a SERIES finale that tops this? I mean, they had a LIL' SEBASTIAN HOLOGRAM. Granted, this is a nice problem to have — at least

Right? I was THRILLED to see Donna finally allowed to be a full supporting character with her own plot and not just a Sass Machine (although Retta is so effortlessly cool and funny that she made Donna a fan fave even when she had almost no lines). I hope Keegan sticks around as her Andy/Ben…

Actually, NBC isn't doing *that* badly this year. Besides The Voice and The Blacklist, the About a Boy/Growing Up Fisher Tuesday block is doing well (WAY above the FOX Tuesday comedies) and Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Grimm are chugging along just fine. I can see Parenthood being renewed, if only for a final

John Slattery (Roger) is only 51 (although admittedly he does look older, especially this season).

Yeah, and why was it only the *guys* who had to help move all their crap? Okay, Sarah was in San Diego part of the time, but Julia wasn't doing anything. Women can't lift boxes and furniture? What kind of sexist BS is that?

Dude. I hardly think poor Gwen Chambers was the Zooey Deschanel of Parenthood. And I think her death was a very significant moment in the show (and for my tear ducts). Also, arguably ALL of season 4 was about loss, even though Kristina ended up living.

Same. I know SF and Berkeley are only 13 or so miles apart so I hope Zeek remains as present in Victor's life as he was this year. I remember being so touched when Victor was first adopted and Zeek immediately addressed him as "grandson." It felt so natural and unforced — one of the reasons I love Zeek so much.

It's kind of funny how many Parenthood plot assumptions here and elsewhere — from Zeek dying to Kristina winning the election to every single re-use of Camille & Zeek's house — never happened. Even though there were many problems with this season I have to hand it to Katims for not choosing most of the obvious

So presumably Haddie and Lauren were staying in Haddie's room together before she came out to her parents. Do we think Adam and Kristina made Lauren sleep on the couch afterward?

Actually, I could have handled whiny Drew getting the car if:

Actually, Zombie Nick on Grimm was considered by some to be hotter than regular Nick. The real question is why someone as brilliant as Lisa would *ever* marry a dweeb like Milhouse.

Why was Amy Poehler even on this episode? I adore her, but seriously, she has funnier material on her Old Navy commercials.

I see your point. I do see ads for Hannibal on NBC during the week, but their biggest promotion happened during the Olympics, when they ran ads CONSTANTLY for both Hannibal and Grimm. Because the Olympics were #1 almost every day they ran I remember being shocked that Hannibal opened so poorly. Oh, well…I hope both

SO true. Also appreciated that Kelly isn't suddenly best buds or even that *comfortable* with Monrosalie beyond their immediate usefulness. Monroe in particular is still scared of her, and who could blame him?
