I never really notice camera work, but even I noticed when the side view camera would show them doing the big jumps and the athlete would just disappear off the top of the shot. It was pretty bad.

You already get 6 days off a week! Now you want whole months where you don't play at all? What kind of monsters are you?

Sweet! that's a 6:30am start time in California. Not that anyone in CA would be watching the Detroit/Atlanta game anyway… But nothing says football like alarm clocks and sun rises.

I don't know the answer to the high school question. I always got the sense that she was relatively bright and capable, but that she squandered her ability to do anything taxing by spending so much time being a fuck up.
Now that she's sober (for almost a year they said in last night's ep), I'd love it if they spent

I'm commenting mostly because I like these reviews and want to see them continue. 22 comments has me a little worried, but we'll see.

Perhaps. And maybe this is my user name talking, but I can't help but smile everytime I hear "tigers on a gold leash". It probably helps that I don't listen to a lot of radio or streaming, so I haven't been oversaturated (I know they've play this song a lot in LA). But I find it catchy and silly and fun. I guess

I liked this one the best so far too… I feel like I've been watching this show for its potential more than its current form, and I'm happy with what feels like the direction of the last 4-5 episodes.

How do we know you don't?

Great catch, I totally missed it even though I noticed his boss' Pumpkins shirt.

REM has a ton of great songs, which unfortunately never became big hits. The ones that did become big hits are inconsistent (Stand, SHP, Everybody Hurts and Radio Song come to mind as the worst), especially after 1990 or so. So if all you hear are the ones played on the radio, you'd likely have a skewed vision of

A surprising number of comments on this article have a single, solitary down vote. I'm choosing to take it as a badge of honor.

I really like Comcast's internet service. It's fast and problem free. I spend a lot of time on it (no, not *just* on the AV Club), and have not had any significant problems in the last 3 years. So, I'd only be interested in switching cable TV.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I'm not sure why it matters if you watch HBO OnDemand or on HBO Go. There aren't a ton of ads for pay cable channels even on OnDemand that I've noticed. I like HBO Go and would rather watch it on my TV for those situations where there's something available on HBO Go that isn't on

yeah, Comcast needs to work out whatever shit it's got going on with HBO. There actually is another cable company in this area, I'm considering trying it for TV (I like the internet service).

Well, here, let me give you my password.

That wasn't milk.

I hated Madden, I know he knew a lot about the game, but I didn't find 90% of his commentary during games interesting or informative.

Water polo, breathlessly exciting. I get it.

good point, I hadn't considered someone just stumbling across the promos.

Yep, I only watched the first one, but by far the girl with the best chance seemed to be the one who gave her kid up for adoption. And she had addicted, incarcerated and rarely-around parents as I recall.
