I saw something weird when I watched this on my DVR.  Anyone else see this?:

It looked to me like the beginning (at least) of his scenes with Rosen were split screened and that they sped up his movements and dialog.

I think it was hard to separate what the writers wanted to be his main personality trait (impatience) with his emotional age/maturity.  I agree that he didn't have enough screen time for a clear separation of those.

I have Comcast / Xfinity and they have two HD channels that I just randomly found dedicated to nothing but Olympic games (one is all Basketball and one is all Soccer).  They seem to play more live games, from start to finish.

Good catch.  I didn't notice that, but this seems like a show that has a few of those kinds of things each week.  I have very low expectations and enjoy the show on a folding-laundry level as @apropostrophe:disqus said above.  With that as my baseline, I usually agree with the grades this show gets: mostly Bs,

The thing that makes it for me is Mal's protesting that Book has a smutty mind and Book apologizes and says he'll make up the guest quarters (or something like that).  Then when he pops his head back out into the hallway when Mal's walking away and just says "A Special hell", then pops his head back out.

That took me out of the episode more than anything else: how many times would someone say, "I don't want to tell you the answers to the burning questions you've got about your origins, because although I'm in witness protection and it's clear that my identity has been compromised and I'll be leaving soon, I just

Agreed that it was fine for one (maybe 2) episode(s).  It punched up the action and pushed the plot forward… Sometimes people are crazy, and if he shows up, is crazy, and is recognized as crazy and dispatched, I'm OK with it.

I generally prefer men clean shaven, but Matt Bomer is so attractive that he could probably make any hairstyle/manscaping combination look decent.  I didn't even mind the curly monstrosity from the pilot.

Peter Krause looked off camera too, and if that was acting and not an honest reaction to an unplanned, improvised beat then he's literally the best actor I've ever seen.

I'm shocked, actually.  I really only clicked on this article to  see what @idiotking:disqus
would say.  Sounds kinda pathetic when you type it out like that….
