No Point Break?
I'm not even joking, I love Point Break. Clueless and Silence of the Lambs would also be in my top 50, but I'm not sure about other lady-directed or lady-centered movies. Except for Jackie Brown. Oh, and Fargo should be no.1, clearly.

Yes! Don't even let me start with "Merry Xmas". Pretty much the most patronising, hypocritical and manipulative song ever. "For yellow and red ones"? What a prick.

My favourite thing about Quantum Leap is when Leslie Knope makes a presentation while horribly sick with flu and introduces Ben Wyatt as "Scott Bakula from Quantum Leap".

I did the same thing last week when my boyfriend was watching Raiders of The Lost Ark. It's pretty amazing how many times the whole TA-TA-RA-TAAA TA-TA-RAAA shows up throughout the film and how ridiculous the repetition eventually gets. Luckily for me, he found it funny - or at least pretended he did.

Even though his "Happy Christmas (War is Over)" is The Hatesong for me for more or less similar reasons (yearly overexposure doesn't help either), I can totally get behind the hate for this one.
And yes, "It’s a default setting for the tasteless." is a common reason for my dislikes as well. Do poeple with no taste in…

Hello!
Hello!
Don't ever speak for Meg Ryan again!

Judging by my friends and their co-workers, I'm much more willing to trust a doctor who can appreciate the stupid crap as well as the high-minded crap. Those are usually the ones that have lives outside of their hospitals and have more empathy for the fellow human beings. The ones that feel like they have to be "on"…

I don't think she is though. I think Mindy is meant to be semi-likeable and flawed - you think she's pretty cool one moment, but you're cringing at her behaviour the next - that way you can be invested in her need to change.
