Watching this film now on IFC. It's entertaining, but all kinds of laughable. Mira Sorvino is radiant, but this film's review is accurate.

The Fhtagn children recently watched Benji at my request, since I remember it from my childhood and my memories were that it was cute and endearing. Benji had dead space during which you could drive to 7-11 and back. Endless shots of the dog walking, punctuated by Hoyt Axton music.
