Huh. I saw him gamely agree to sit and watch a television show with someone rather than actually spending time getting to know them, then politely refusing offered food, and being curious about her passion for the show. But then again I thought she should have paused the show and tried to connect with this guy who —

Because there are hundreds of hours of video that don't get edited until MONTHS later. Since no one told them, they had no idea that Kristin asked Josie to roast the bones and make the sauce the night before, and the next morning, and all day.

Apparently, the judges didn't know she took too long.

Apparently, the judges didn't know she took too long.

Tom Colicchio says outright in his blog that had the judges known what went on in the kitchen, they would have dumped Josie. But Kristin deliberately chose not to tell the judges how Josie promised over and over again to get the sauce done early and never did. Kristin could have saved herself, but chose not to.

Josie and Hosea, they belong together.

Really? Because I though that June's rejection of him was particularly cruel since he seemed like such a nice guy. Sure, it is a weird quirk to not like food that is wrapped up, but I've dated people with weirder food issues. And June telling him to shut up so she could watch TV was pretty harsh. Yeah, Jimmy Buffet fans call themselves Parrot Heads. There are Parrot Head clubs all over the country.

I was thinking Glee, but I like your Being John Malkovich callback better.

It would have been hilarious if Wil Wheaton walked into the diner, saw the guys in costume, said "Nope, not gonna happen" and turned around and walked out.

Scrubs occasionally suggested that some of the doctors were idiots. But I've spoken with real doctors who say it was the most realistic show ever about what doctors do in a hospital.

Imagine telling someone in 1985 that the top grossing movies of the 21st century would feature comic book super heroes and characters from fantasy like elves and witches and vampires. Their heads would have exploded.

Come on TBS!

That fifth paragraph is all sorts of messed up. There's an extra "that he decides" and it could use a couple of semi-colons.

After taxes, it is really only $6,000 or so. A nice first class vacation could easily cost that much. Especially if it involves high end food and wine.

Wait, she played football? I had no idea. I thought she was saying "foosball"

Lisa was a runner up, so was never eliminated. She won one EC, was in the  top once, and was in the bottom for 6 of 13 ECs. Her string of bottoms were all towards the end of the competition, so it is easy to forget that she was ok for the first 6 episodes.

There's a restaurant in New York called Traif (http://www.traifny.com/). I've heard good things. Any place that celebrates pork and shellfish is high on my list (although the more common spelling is treif).

I don't think Brooke's immunity carries over. I was just saying that when she won immunity they still had not defined the parameters of the challenge. I was hoping that her immunity (and the uneven number of cheftestants) meant a more unified restaurant war. Sadly it was not to be.
