I was gonna post this exact thing. I just felt sick watching this, as each couple had their hopes and dreams shattered. It was heartbreaking, sadistic, and cruel. The only thing worse would be if there was a game show where they slowly pushed the losers' prizes off the top of a building until they smashed to bits on

Dot Dot Dot, I was joking. Sorry if that wasn't clear with my "Sheesh!" I think 18 years is plenty for a spoiler.

@Sarahmas: "I'm pretty sure that in one season the returnee ended up winning the whole thing. An older lady maybe? Can't remember. "

Oops, I forgot about Pearl Islands, where they did have an "Outcast" tribe made up of six people who had been voted out. Of those six people, two were voted back in by the other Outcasts.

As far as I know there has never been a season where someone voted out was able to return. A few seasons used the "Exile Island" gimmick where one person from the losing tribe was sent to live alone away from camp for a few days, but it was always a temporary thing.

Remember that they do two seasons a year. Still, 11 years is a long time for a tv show.

Strategical
Ugh, I heard this "word" at least twice during the show, and now the reviewer used it as well.

Hey, how about a spoiler warning? Some of us watch The Simpsons for the plot and character arcs.

Fabio the Italian grandma
I can't stand Fabio and his excuses. This week it was that he only knows Italian food and has no experience with Southeast Asian cuisine. He actually said something along the lines of "I'd like to see them take a Vietnamese grandma and ask her to make good Italian food." I wanted to scream

Even if her name were "O'Keith" he would have pronounced it "O'Keeffe".

Howard as sidekick
I was kind of hoping for a "Moist" reference in the sidekick discussion.

Shamy, Shamy, Shamy

There's a band called "The New Pornographers"? You crazy kids and your music.

I always heard it as "half your age plus seven"

"Twenty years ago" is subject to rounding error, unless he said "exactly 20 years ago" or "20 years ago today" or the like.

Neptuny, I think you are thinking of "Lady Marmalade"

All this time I thought Zombie Winger was Kip Winger. I kept waiting for him to break into "Headed for a Heartbreak"

Didn't you guys read the stray observations? It was clearly spelled out there. Hurley is always referencing OLD video games. The joke being that he is leaving to go play a game he could have played any time. Hence the Grand Theft Auto reference in 2010.

I think an "A+" is reserved for their "AV Club Classics". An "A" would have been acceptable though.

I think the quote was "My first two weeks at the Royal Tampa Academy of Dramatic Tricks…"
