I'd like to think that this season of AHS takes place in the same universe as THE CABIN IN THE WOODS. The control room is right below Briarcliff, and there was just another purge right before everything started, accidentally releasing mutants, aliens, demons, dark angels, Bloody Face and He-Man Woman-Hating William…

Sorry if this has been addressed in a place I missed, but does this mean that Canada is still getting it a month before us?

Ahh, of course. Still, the fact that this hasn't been flat-out stated, and is instead just a subtle background detail is a touch that makes me love the show. It just so happens that one character we know is related to another character we know. Doesn't need to be forced down your throat.

I was completely won over by this episode. All the little details that went into the video game references were just wonderful, with the chiptune version of the theme song during the credits being the icing on the cake. (All the music in the episode in general was pretty fantastic, in fact)

This was….weird. I laughed quite a bit, which is more than I can say for most TV comedies this early on, but it was just so oddly structured. It felt like 3 different episodes crammed into one. I think part of this feeling came from Matthew Perry being involved in every one of the stories. I get that he's the selling…

I have a weird, stubborn commitment to watch every episode of most shows I watch. More often than not, if I watched it from the beginning, I'm there til the end. I've stuck with Weeds, even though it has zero impact on me anymore. It's just something I have on in the background while I browse the internet. Dexter…

Yeah, I was a bit confused by this as well. It's Rob Huebel, same as the actual actor, but pronounced Hoibel. No idea where Glarion Rudge was pulled from, but it certainly feels in the spirit of naming that most Wain productions have.

How cool was the choice to add the location/time subtitles (as well as introducing the person from Leno with a subtitle)? It just gave a great build-up, giving you the sense that something big and important was happening.

Right?! I just finished the first season of "Deadwood", and am now realizing what a criminally underrated actor he is.
