Well I enjoyed the first Piranha 3D as silly, gory, boobtastic fun, this one not so much. When David Hasselhoff is the best part of the movie it isn't really a great sign.

I like slow burners and competently made horror films too, but House of the Devil was literally an hour of absolutely nothing happening , then some run of the mill horror things, before everything kinda got thrown out the window for the end. But yea, he sure got the look down.

I thought the movie flew by and moved at a great pace

Random limb stabbings and a severed head which we see after the fact. Hook through a throat. Undead things being chopped up. A lot of fake blood in the last 20 minutes. Definitely not torture porn, but about what you'd see in a Friday the 13th.

Berlin showed a big house on fire. And Buenos Aires showed a dead..bigfoot, I think.

Yea, that was a great touch. I still want to read every name on the board too

Hopefully it has some success, the word of mouth seems like it'll be great. Still surprised that this will most likely wind up above 80% on rotten tomatoes once all the reviews come in. Definitely avoid the trailer and tv spots before watching the movie, all the surprises are fun.
