We needed new luggage before going to Austria and Poland last month and I was really tempted to get the Canadian flag one. Hey! I'm from Wisconsin and there are maple trees everywhere. Of course we went with obnoxious bright colors like always so we can see our luggage from across the airport if needed.

The Bush tax cuts did the same thing. I know several people who got the tax cuts but wound up with less in their pocket because there was less business. Only a few of them are still stupid enough to vote Republican.

It really is. People who need some measure of control get it and everyone still shares. Better still there's enough of us with adventurous tastes that most of us (even the pickier ones) wind up trying something they've never had before.
