dammit
I thought this meant there was a season 7 already or something. Season 3's old news — thanks for getting my hopes up : P. The show really doesn't pick up until season 4 when, without spoiling the plot, the ongoing sophie plot blows up. Season 5&6 really made me get addicted to this thing.

Actually — at least the 3rd time: the first episode of the season defending the gay penguin marriage, the christmas sex scandal episode, and this one. For some reason I kind of feel like there was another time, but maybe not.

Mmm you have a good point. Furthermore, it often doesn't work to set out and make a conscious lyrical statement about feminism or, to a lesser extent I suppose, the experience of being a woman. It ends up setting up that self-conscious "I'm making a statement, learn from my song" song, which tends to alienate you as a

No problem, Canada. You've given me so so much.

no spice, eh
Good list. I'm surprised you all left off so many things by the Spice Girls, since it seems like the prototypical example of misguided girl anthem. I suppose it's because I was on some random wikipedia tangent a week or so ago, clicking and clicking (my life away), and I ended up reading the article on

Oh dammit — I replied in the wrong thread, disregard that.

Oh whatever, so I use the word 'irregardless' instead of 'regardless' once in a while. I don't know why. Cope with it.

Facebook: the movie?

the pit
It's been filled for a while now. So it's more like the 'flat, undeveloped lot' or maybe 'the field' now. They turned it into a christmas park in the christmas episode? I don't know how much more there is to do with it, I guess — unless they still need to make an actual park and such.

angela
I know she's on the list of characters people often complain about for being one-dimensional, ludicrous, and increasingly predictable characters on the show, but I was happy to see her used more prominently in this episode, with the potential for more integration in the future. She's really been on the

tittiest episode ever.

I just don't get your evaluation style, Rabin
You're not trashing the episode, or anything — you clearly at least enjoyed it, so I don't mean to come off as up in arms or anything here, but it seemed like this was the most well-orchestrated and funniest episode since Niagra. Yet you describe it as all-over-the-map and

break ups
Jumping from leslie and ron talking about why she's realizing she doesn't like Justin to the two of them simply being broken up, without the obligatory break up talk scene, was fairly refreshing.
Also John Laroquette's admission that he never became a lawyer seemed like a little joke about how he always

I'm a little relieved
I saw the other day the show got picked up for a 3rd season. It has pretty much become my favorite currently-running TV show, and it seems like most people I know still don't want to be bothered since they still think it's an office knock off. So hoo-fuckin-ray.

Well, I always immediately think of ….. Designing Women … she played Carlene ( I admit I feel a little embarassed, but oh well )

You're not paying for him to write a review, at least not in any direct sense as with, say, a newspaper or a magazine. So you do come off like a jack ass complaining in such a hostile, virulent, pissy fashion. That said, I did feel like the tai chi bit was a little self-indulgent as it didn't really add anything to

Yeah I've been missing Donna a bit over the past few episodes.

Kathy Bates was doing a pretty nerve-wracking Paula Deen impersonation

Yeah I am being a little presumptuous or speculative, I suppose. Fair enough — sorry

Oh my god that's who that was! It was driving me crazy because he didn't look exactly the same, but he looked so familliar
