Bye show.
Bye show.
If only the pilot could have scaled the heights of Merchant's date in Movie 43.
oy vey.
vey oy.
'Smart' and 'dumb' aren't just switches that can be turned off or on.
Wow dude, just wow.
I fast forwarded through most of the Leslie Nope scenes, but otherwise - great episode!
It was generated by the same apparatus that asked your cliched question.
The series was headed towards this destination from season 1 onwards - during the first season, Dexter introduced a dichotomy between 'good serial killer' and 'bad serial killer' via a literal bloodline.
Huh?
Fantastic review, fantastic reviewer.

That's an excellent parry, but I see little evidence of the show being interested in an ensemble. Instead of laying down the groundwork for something more expansive and inclusive, this pilot adopted a more definitive and reductive approach.
I forgive you, but don't do it again
I thought it had potential, but was way too hit and miss (and seemingly constrained by its own premise). I also thought it odd that the show had such good word of mouth based on the pilot - not unlike Sleepy Hollow (some outstanding *moments* don't make a great show)
So much potential squandered.
You guys are such gluttons for punishment.
Michael Cristofer is an awesome actor (amongst other things), and his performance as the priest should have been singled out for praise.
I'm surprised that the review doesn't play up a very obvious fact: that Walt knew the police were at his home recording their conversation, and he was trying to protect Skyer from the fallout through his 'posturing'.
