Hey, I like this Stacy character.

That's the finest single-sentence summation of America I've ever heard. Good job.

What DID make them wanna come and blow you away?

I almost joined the Facebook group united against giving these assholes permission to film the show on the Cape, but then I remembered Facebook groups are about as binding as those online petitions that used to get forwarded around.

"Legendary Hearts" at the top? Seriously? It's 45 minutes of whining and fretless bass. It has four good songs. And that's if I'm in a charitable mood. And one of them is "Don't Talk to Me About Work".

I fully intend to purchase one of these sandwiches today. Ownage, bitches, or something.

Does anyone else like The Kinks' "Wish I Could Fly Like Superman", or am I the only one?

My heart is like an open sewer.

I love the video for "Tight Connection". Bob's attempt to dance at the end is priceless. Along with the dancers in cages, knife fights, and fright wigs, it makes for the most entertaining thing Dylan did in the mid '80s. I actually like the song too, though.

Not bad for a corpse.

I admit, that was the part at which I laughed the hardest. I'm not classy. I also loved Brodsky vs. Gapski and the three English professors, though….

First cassette ever purchased: Phil Collins, "Face Value".

The Sparks movies would be better if they were scored by the Mael Brothers.

Covering NRBQ does the trick, though. If you don't love the original "Ridin' in My Car", you're officially an asshole.

HA! I read the first chapter, at least…

No matter what, it's not going to capture Kim Fowley's maniacal genius. They should have had him play himself. Even if he is 70 now.

"Head Above Water" from "Private Eyes" is probably my favorite non-single H&O song. Their albums tended not to hang together very well apart from their string of early 80's classics, but there's good stuff on almost all of them.

"Candy's Room", along with "Adam Raised a Cain", are two of my favorite Bruce songs.

I thought "Breath Control" was on "Edutainment" anyway….

A-MIN to this gimmick poster!
