I loved her on Flight of the Conchords, and love her on The Daily Show. Here, they haven't figured out quite what to do with her, as someone pointing out how crazy things are at the office isn't particularly needed.
Yeah. I kept waiting for Schmidt to show he was faking it to make a point with the roommates (or Cece) but sadly did not happen.
I thought "Can't Hardly Wait" was Paul Westerberg doing his usual playing with
common phrases to change the meaning (Please to Meet You becomes Please
to Meet Me, All Shook Up becomes All Shook Down, and Can Hardly Wait
becomes the opposite.)
In any case, now I want to go listen to the song…
Jesus rides beside me. …
Sounds like my memory of it got exaggerated over time. So let me rephrase it to say he lets his jerk-flag fly. Not a douche. A jerk.
Tatum seemed fine. Jonah, well… he seems like he's trying to be less douchey at least.
Except the books sell like hotcakes.
Definitely agree Bendis has seemed burned out on Avengers for a long stretch now. His new Ultimate Spidey is so fantastic, and Powers has started up again and is still great, so it's hard to believe it's the same guy.
And here I thought the first two issues were the best. I thought they had enough beloved characters to work with (Wolverine, Beast, Ice Man, Kitty, and even Quentin) that they didn't need to introduce half a dozen more new ones to split the focus.

Remember when they went to Cheers? Yes, there was a crossover!
Did they keep the idea that the angrier you get (when Hulked) the stronger you get?
I was going to write that. And the fact that someone else already has makes me only like this site more. My people!
Czar, she didn't want to risk alienating part of her audience and thus hurt sales. Those books barely broke even!
That is totally the look of The Fifth Element. Wow.
If it weren't posted with this article, I totally would have thought that drawing on the top was by Frank Quitely.
So I assume people are following Colton because they know he's pushy enough to get them further in the game but certainly will never get a vote from a jury.
Yeah, it's an earlier one. Winston has had a (somewhat) more defined character in the more recent episodes. Or at least a lot more bizarre/quirky jokes that I enjoy.
So getting to be world famous, on the cover of magazines, star in a hugely seen movie, and then have it all go away by age 9 is an easy experience for a child to go through?
NPH was 17 when Doogie went on the air. That's a very different experience.
