Good point about the it's-been-doneness of the "he loses his powers" storyline even within the comics, guys, for better or worse.  Irwin, I I'm not saying that the comics should be considered a complete guide to successful storytelling—but this trope is in superhero *movies* too much, while the comics at least show

As far as I'm concerned, "he-loses-his-powers" is far from an enticement to see any superhero movie.  It's obvious ("So he can throw cars?  Let's see what happens if he CAN'T throw cars anymore!"), and it's been done to death, usually just to generate some time-killing melodrama.  Meanwhile, comics and cartoons forge
