Yeah, the complete lack of substantial Sally action was weird.  Not that I need huge Sally storylines each week — oh, hell, who am I kidding? I love Sally stories — but that one shot of her and Megan going to the vigil was so dismissive that it might as well have been a Shipka body double.  I'm glad to finally get a

I don't think she went as far as sabotaging it, but she was definitely perturbed by both cohabitation AND the lady paying for everything.  Horrors!

"Joe Namaste": sly bit of commentary, or really hilarious typo?

Damn. One of the rare times I regret having a TiVo instead of Comcast's cable boxes. (No OnDemand.)

That's a good point. And you could argue that even if he is partially guilty, he's served enough time to compensate for that guilt. (In non-capital murder cases, 20 years is a somewhat reasonable sentence.) Ultimately, though, I agree that it's not that important whether we ever know.

Heh. Because I am woefully uneducated about Cinema-with-a-capital-C, my reaction to the first line of the post was, "Point Break? The one with the surfers and the President masks?"

Wasn't the episode right after this the one with Turk dancing to "Poison" and the air guitar band doing "More Than a Feeling"? Because that musical episode is SO MUCH BETTER than the Official Scrubs Musical Episode.

Thank you! I thought I was the only one who feels genuinely saddened by NBC's fate and takes the NBC-bashing a bit too seriously.  Even now, though, it airs far more of my beloved shows than any of the other networks.  Yet people act like NBC's a notch or two below SpikeTV.

If nothing else, all the intense hatred for Megan just makes me like her more.  So there, internet! Hmph!

Oh, the guy realized exactly what was going on — and I'm now afraid that he'll try and make 'em pay soon enough.  Especially Joan.  I think he also caught onto how disgusted she was with him.

"Because Brie so often plays very sweet characters—including Trudy—it’s easy to forget that she’s capable of stuff like this."

Shooting him would've resulted in a body to dispose of and the FBI continuing to pursue Amador's murderer. Suicide by cop at least gives the KGB a hope that the FBI will end the investigation.

I'm freeeeeeeee to be whatever I —-

Personally, I was very surprised to see Tui is still alive, given that most other crime dramas would've killed her off (with a melodramatic discovery of the body) or shown her captive in some dank, spooky basement. But I'm sure it's not quite so simple.

Top Of The Lake (Sundance, 10 p.m.): We actually don’t know if Scott Tobias or Brandon Nowalk will cover tonight’s episode.

During the first few seasons of Grey's Anatomy, all the popular and critical praise drove me crazy. "It's just a freakin' soap!  A well-written and acted soap, but a soap nonetheless!" Granted, that's an unfair dismissal — it really was a good show in the beginning — but I hated seeing so many critics acting like it

Aha! I thought it was from Ghost but was too embarrassed to google it. Still, my hunch about that while I watched was enough to make me snicker whenever Goldwyn was onscreen. Well-played, Rhimes & Co.

And last week we finally got some decent male booty! It's still not
commensurate with all the female bee-hinds (hey, I'm on a work
computer), but it's a start! Gender parity, hoorah!

I love awful puns, so this is my favorite thing on the internet today. *mwah*

Huh. The death-by-botched-abortion theory makes a lot of sense, especially since they brought up Robin's earlier pregnancy and how she couldn't have an abortion because "Mum's Catholic, so…."  Plus, revealing a whole new culprit this late in the game wouldn't work very well, so it's likely someone we already know.
