@billyboy I think that we are meant to understand that she was born and raised in England, but has been living in the US for 15-20 years or so. That's why she has that hybrid accent thing going on.

Whatever happened to that actor? Actually the rest of that cast really didn't come out that well except for some guest roles on Party Down. Well, Amanda Seyfried came out pretty well.

I watched the series in the highest of definitions. And yes, it did look gorgeous. It was the first time my girlfriend appreciated my investment in a new television.
