I was just at Trader Joes and I was whistling this song absent mindedly and my checkout guy just smiled and said it always gets stuck in his head too. So I've found at least one more person that watches it too. Thanks for posting the link to the full version. I'd like to buy it, but the iTunes link they are giving

You know what, False Binary, I think you have made a good point. One of the things that I like so much about this show, is that it does take place in a very colorful world, and since they do a majority of their investigating during the day time, we can really see it very well. They've done some clandestine night

Re: Hank Distracting/Britt Thieving:

I bet that if you turn on the director's commentary you get all of the answers.

I think you'll be alright with shrimp. Prawns though….

Holy fuck…. is this a spam comment? I don't think I've ever seen one on here before.

Yeah, I also found that distracting, but I kind of really liked Don's line about "Fortunately I have a bodyguard". It was an innocent flirtation to Faye, and a sort of more intimate than usual comment for Megan. Don is the master of juggling other people's feelings.

Listen dude. JESUS ate fish.

I know he was using the whole "I'm in New Jersey trying to stop a major terrorist attack" as an excuse to make Maggie go and confront Andie, but let's be honest, he was terrified.

I kind of like the non-symbolic aspect of the attack. Well, shit, maybe there is some symbolism there with oil and what not, but I'm too intoxicated to try and figure it out. I also have to acknowledge that I really liked the white bread American terrorist as a plot point. Blowing up the oil tanker might have been a

Michael Gaston
I was so relieved when I saw him in this episode. If I'm watching television for a couple of hours and I don't see him pop up somewhere, I start to worry that there's been an accident or something.

Tanya & Grant
Are back to their bickering. Did they bone? Did Julia and Miles? These are the questions I want answered.

Yeah I was wondering if he maybe wasn't waiting around with Grant so that he could get the call from Bloom, and then offer Grant the job. It would be a good way of putting some fear of Jesus in Grant, without explicitly mentioning what happened to Will.

Will Travers? An asshole? Try his wife and child. Try 9/11…

Something else that is awesome about this show
Is that super jaunty catchy theme song. Is it a song composed for the show, or just one I haven't heard before?

Noisy
I've loved Mr. Folds since way back in the day, but these albums since Rockin' the Suburbs have been WAY overproduced. Ben Folds, piano. That's really all that needs to be there. I think he's great, but I will never understand his penchant for goofy synth noises.

Yeah, I don't see the MPDG thing so much. She's definitely quirky, but Manic? As far as being a dream girl, Will doesn't really seem to like her all that much. I hope she's not a "honey pot". That would be terribly over the top conspiracy movie stuff.

Miles
Did Miles and Julia go have their drink yet? They seemed fairly not awkward around each other.

yeah man. it's a conspiracy.

The Grant-Tanya thing would feel extremely rushed to me as they have thus far been nothing but fairly contemptuous to each other. This is something that happens far to often in television. I just don't see any of the subtext where these do had any kind of attraction to each other.
