I used to watch "Glee" with my wife.  It was a silly show, but it was a musical, and I'm a sucker for those.  The first season was, um, not great, after the first 13 episodes.  The second?  I toughed it out.  I tried and tried.  I made it about 2/3 of the way through the season before I could take no more.  No more

Small Potatoes funnier than Bad Blood?  Hmmm.  Tough call.  Small Potatoes has "Mulder.  F…B…I."  Bad Blood?  "I was drugged!"  So great, both of them.

Probably because they had Lazenby in ruffles and a kilt.  "Sir Hilary" I think.

Sorry, Nathan.  I respectfully nominate "Harvey Manfrenjensenden" from A Fish Called Wanda as the funniest fake name.  Snrub is a close second.

I agree.  His performance was quite good.  I'd rather he'd have won over Kiley, but it feels like Robinson deserved a nomination more than Williams deserved the Emmy.

Exactly, Thrace.  Critics couldn't stop praising NYPD Blue and Picket Fences as the pinnacle of TV Drama in 1994.  Have those shows stood-up over the past 18 years?  Hill Street Blues remains more influential to cop shows than NYPD Blue, despite airing over 10 years earlier.  Picket Fences?  It's only honor these days

Syndicated shows never got the mainstream awards respect they deserved.  "The Wire" aired in May 1994, so it was eligible for the Fall 1994 Emmys.  Of course, this was back when all of the drama nominations went to NYPD Blue or Picket Fences, so, naturally, Andrew Robinson would never be recognized.  Not even a

I can't wait until he gets up to S02E22 - "The Wire."  Finally, an episode where Garak is the centerpiece.  Great freaking episode.

Indeed, but that's not the worst part, sadly.  Hollywood has been almost uniformly terrible at casting film musicals in the last 20 years.  They're either non-singers or completely wrong for the part.  Or both.
