I love that when U2 pops up on AV Club, it leads to some great conversations and comments.  A refreshing change from the usual internet 'Boner sucks' stuff.

YES!  Man, I lost my shit when I saw that promo on TV.

LOVE that book.  I wish they'd done that with all their tours.  I'll offer up my services to write about the next one.

@digifreak642  I'm right there with you on No Line.  The middle three are less than great, but the rest is pretty great.

You betcha.  I've been really happy to see that when U2 is discussed here, there are some great comments and conversations.  Happy to see other fans outside of a U2 fan forum, where we all have highly dysfunctional internet relationships.

The best seats were really expensive ($250), but they also had cheap seats for $30.  And, as usual for them, you could get close to the band in general admission for about $60, which seems to be rare these days for the big touring bands (Coldplay, and the Stones come to mind).

I love Scarlett's singing voice, but when she speaks, I just want to stab something.

Yeah, I think she was in the bottom two because she flat-out ignored what Nina said.

I thought Layanna's was just AWFUL.  When they had the "coming up on Project Runway" blurbs and you heard someone saying how it looked unfinished, I thought it was a fake-out where we were meant to think they were talking about Patricia's dress, but no! They were talking about Layanna's.

And who walks around with an $8000 watch in a fancy box in their coat pocket?  And then leaves it in the coat check?

Ditto on Casablancas, and also Flowers.  Man, that was a bad album.

I'm trying not to pull my "not sure if serious" face, but …

re: the ginger one.  YES!  I was pleasantly surprised by that one.  I have Cheryl Cole's first solo album, which has some fun stuff on it, but wisely took a pass on her other(s).  (Can't remember if she's had 2 or 3 solo albums.)

@avclub-7f0b65b1c977b6403a5bb7eac5f4bd4e:disqus  - ah, thanks.  I had forgotten that (obviously).

I don't know why the dress was somehow the worst in the show's history.  Have they already forgotten that little drag queen from this season (sorry, have forgotten her name), the one who kept yammering on about how they didn't understand what art she was trying to make or whatever, but clearly had no idea what she was

I was so hoping that would be the kicker.  Diane writes fanfic!  That whole scene was glorious.

God, I love this show.

Do we know that was the truth, though?  I don't remember if Victoria had mentioned rape/abuse in previous episodes.  I thought it was likely she just told Conrad that to gain sympathy.

Completely agreed.  Genius.

I know. It's really pretty terrible, but as long as they keep having even tiny moments like that awesome song Ivy sang, I'll keep watching.
