Yeah, same for me. I had kind of dismissed it based on the description of it, but looks like I was wrong.

It's not a hard and fast rule, but I have started to avoid third-in-a-series blockbusters as a general rule. More so when it's obviously just milking the franchise for all its worth. By all accounts, this seems to have served me pretty well in recent years (X-III, Spiderman 3, M:I-III, POTC 3, and so on).
Dammit, Dave!
You forgot to wear your STEEL-TOED BOOTS!
I can never listen to that Chopin piece without their lyrics worming their way into my mind.
Nominations for worst drink?
I'd pick the Bloody Bull. Blech.
I can't stand the stuff. Hope I never get malaria.

I knew virtually nothing about Audition before I popped it into the DVD player, and I think I have to agree that that fact helped me appreciate it more.

I would have agreed with the OP before I saw Lady in the Water. I don't actually mind that he made himself the messiah and the movie critic the villain. To me, it was just a promising premise that completely fell apart in its execution. I don't know if it was the writing, directing or a bit of both but something went…
Exactly, elim. Much of the dialogue just felt like a desperate attempt to impress us.
I was just trying to spread a little holiday cheer (fear?) by referencing Santa Bot.
"Christmas is special because of Jesus. It's not just a "winter holiday." For millions of Americans the giving and receiving of gifts is in honor of the One who gave Himself. For the Gap to pretend that isn't the foundation of the Christmas season is political correctness at best and religious bigotry at worst." This…
Fats, you missed the second half of the saying:
It's not without its flaws, but we are certainly in a golden age of professional basketball.
To me this feels like …
The Day After Tomorrow redux.
So basically …
Oprah's favorite thing is Assface from Preacher?
