Nah, saw it about a month ago (in UK). Good to hear someone changed it. I don't ask for much in films, but having the dub actually sync up with the animation's rather important.

I thought it was a sweet, visually interesting little film that went down well with both adults and kids at the screening I was at. However, the English dub was atrocious. It sounded like it had been thrown together in a fortnight.

I would happily get rid of 10 shows currently airing to get one more season of Carnivale.

Has anyone not dropped out of this film yet?

You lied to us through song! I hate it when they do that.

Do studios have boards covered in the names of vaguely popular films they've made that they just throw darts at when they're low on ideas? Or is there a more sophisticated decapitating of chicken like in South Park?

I didn't mind the reveal, if it can be called that, of Management having a body, but the actual reveal of it in the next season is a bit of a let-down. Nothing can top Linda Hunt's voice though.

I've thoroughly enjoyed your write-ups, Todd. If they managed to turn even one person into a fan of my favourite TV show ever (yes, really. I even made my family watch it) then it would be worth it in this fangirl's mind.

The rumour was that Rice had a no-edit clause written into her contract about 5 or 6 books into the Vampire Chronicles. I have no idea if that's true or not but the dramatic decline in quality backs it up to an extent. Well, that and Rice's use of writing as therapy. Anne Rice's id, let me show you it.
