Kang: Very well, no abortions for anyone.

Kang: Hmm… Abortions for some, miniature American flags for others.

I am a little surprised that they used Molly Ringwald and not Judd Nelson "turning it up" from the Breakfast Club.

Yeah I considered posting on the giant "paper vs. electronic" thread above, but the problem is that Borders has been run by imbeciles since the late '90s. They always had fun book stores, they were fairly good to work for, and had a decent selection (although my experience was that B&N was always slightly better at

@A Thought

I think I enjoyed Anchorman in the theater more than Robuttnik, but I tend to agree that there's really nothing special about that movie. The deliveries of some of those lines make it memorable and quotable, so I get that, but that's about it.

I think the issue is that since this bill would ban the affiliates from using federal funds to pay for NPR content, it would seriously cripple the core of most of their "talk" programming. A gigantic portion of the day on any public radio station is morning edition and all things considered, in addition to numerous

Huh, that's a shame you didn't dig it. You're kind of being a dick about it, but I certainly see how this show could rub people the wrong way. I would say is that I never felt like I was supposed to "care" about the characters, since they are all so deeply horribly flawed, but as Noel said, having them drawn so

The mere fact that you call making love "Pop-pop"
tells me you're not ready.

How to judge these seasons
To me, Monster Parties is the stand out from these two eps… I certainly get the disappointment in Season 4 overall, since the concept of the shows as a whole tended to fade.

Something that I don't think has been talked about enough in this show….
Is the camera work… the way that the entire Noonan scene was shot was just fucking brilliant, and there have been hints of that throughout the season. The scene that comes to mind is where Louie is Jonesing hard to get back to his apartment and

"People just don't seem to be interested in insurance these days…"

Meh…
The visuals for this do look really neat, but I just don't see the appeal.

Yeah Miller, that's the only thing I think of when I see him too. He's actually done some other pretty good roles, but him and Chris Eigeman are always aimless recent college grads to me.

Bye Daddy…
I'm dying.

I have to side with the pigeons here…
I imagine those birds were just trying to send a message about how Kings of Leon's music has gotten hella boring and mainstream compared to their first 3 albums.

That's a fair point… I've given up on playing the "I can't believe this show made it and this show didn't" game, especially on Fox, after some of my very favorite shows were canceled way too early.

When I re-watched this last week, that punch had me laughing harder than anything else in the episode, I think because it's kind of a payoff from the growing tension in the episode.

This show is great
I'm amazed at all the good TV coming on this summer…

I think seasons 3 and 4 were less consistent than the first two, but when they got it right later on, they did some amazing stuff… e.g. "Sad songs are nature's onions" and the one with Car Wash Change Thief Action Squad are still two of my favorite episodes.
