Addiction to alcohol or other substances is considered a mental illness as much as it is a physical illness in most jurisdictions as far as I'm aware.  That kind of addiction is very much a two-sided ordeal, the physical dependence on how the substances makes your body feel and the mental dependence on how the

Acting?  No.  Begging people on Twitter to destroy her vagina? Yes.

She's currently starring as the worst of the main cast on Grey's Anatomy.  Which isn't saying a whole lot.  Or maybe it is.  I dunno.

Her character on Grey's Anatomy is even more cartoonish.

I've been watching Flashpoint recently since I found it on Netflix.  I'm starting to realize that the Flashpoint joke during the Kickstarter video probably wasn't as tongue-in-cheek as it sounded.  Maybe it's just because VM is one of my favorite shows of all-time, but there really is a lot of Keith Mars in Greg.

I'm going to say the unpopular thing here: I want Parker back because out of the two new main characters that were added in the third season, I feel she was the stronger.

It was enough of a role that she subsequently ended up in Whedon's tiny little indie project during the summer.

I have to think that Caroline would give a much better performance if the Fuller and the writers would give her the screen time to give that better performance.  She's gotten the least screen time of any of the star billing cast and it's a damn shame.

Jillian Morgese isn't a newcomer.  She had a role in The Avengers, which is why she's here.

If we're counting references to Firefly in another show, Castle probably wins.

TV Club is like the Mensa of TV show review websites.  Lots of smart stuff going on, but way too full of itself (in the comments, anyway) for anybody to really look at them with anything other than amazed contempt.

I gave up on this show during the third episode - it just wasn't grabbing me, but I've been looking at the reviews here on the AV every now and then since then.

I made it to the state finals in that Battle of the Books competition thingamajig in 2nd grade, only to end up not actually going because my parents wouldn't shell out the cash for me to fly to Juneau from Fairbanks.  I had to settle for getting my name in the Fairbanks Daily New-Miner.  To this day, that's as famous

I feel much younger on the inside.

Did Games of Thrones seriously get preempted by a TV movie about Liberace? =/

Please let this not be a thing that happens.  The show is called Grimm, not Half-Hexenbiest.

@Kumagoro:disqus I haven't watched it yet, so I was not aware of Monroe's reaction.  My apologies!

This last bit really hinges on your proclivities.
