The Secret Life of the American Teenager on ABC Family?  Final season is this summer, I believe.

I've often wondered about the origin of the terms "genre show" and "genre movie."  Are family drama and romantic drama not genres?

@avclub-1881baeccb7399f3452cd7f37cdb2b29:disqus I won't lie and say I'm not looking forward to it.  Her music may be catchy, but she's a terrible role model.

I personally really don't mind the wholesale lifting of format pieces from Buffy.  If anything, I think it's made Grimm a better show, so more power to them.

Unless she implodes and commits suicide.  At the rate she breaks up with guys for new album material, eventually (I give it five years, tops) nobody will date her and she'll realize she's a shriveled old shrew inside and off herself.

Maybe not, but this is Fox, so it's still totally crazy enough that I'm okay believing it was.

I can't speak for all of us, but I can speak for myself when I say, "Bring it on."

Sansa's innocence seems unrealistic, at least to me.  Humans figure most of this stuff out on their own for the most part and by her age, I think it's unrealistic she wouldn't have been able to put the pieces together.

I'm watching the pilot for Wonderfalls right now (I just got to the scene where the lion is singing while she's trying to sleep) and I don't think I'll ever be able to look at Dr. Bloom the same way ever again.  This show might be the most brilliant work of art I've ever witnessed.

I took that scene to mean she had just taken a shower after having gotten all sooty, but I suppose the pool works too.

I'm surprised nobody's commented on the pool.  Isn't the TARDIS having a swimming pool a recurring joke?

Does this mean that Todd will be reviewing The Americans with his wife permanently?  I vote that this means Todd will be reviewing The Americans with his wife permanently.

My family has land around Barker and Somerset in New York (Lake Ontario/Eerie area, Niagra Country) and there's an Amish community right down the road.  They're pretty primitive.  When I was there last, they didn't use cell phones and didn't shop anywhere but the corner gas station about two miles down the road in the

The common thread here is that Fox sticks its fingers into the clay too often, many times against the sculptor's wishes.  They just don't know when to leave a show alone to find its way.

I think the bigger problem here is that you're this afraid to talk to your ex nine months after a breakup you've described as "fairly amicable."  Either leave the account active or deactivate it and risk an email - either way, after nine months it's time to leave Pansy-ass Mode.

Caption for the article header photo, "Natalie Zea is bummed that she gave up a starring role in Justified for such a stinker like The Following."

I really like this show and I'm at the point right now where it's entertaining enough that I only sort of skim through AV's reviews without actually reading them.  The honeymoon effect will probably wear off eventually, but right now I'm just enthralled.

I kind of meant it's hard to not to love him as an awesome TV character.  He does redeem himself a bit later in the show's run, amongst having some of the best storylines on the show (if not the best).  I would say just keep giving it a chance, but if you're nine episodes in and you're not digging it, it might just

I think I got around to watching Deadwood after the first season of Justified had aired, so for me it was Timothy Olyphant.  That man simply has a way with the gritty, southern, old school lawman roles.

It got bumped to next Friday?  What about the move to Tuesday.  Are they going to show Tuesday's episode and then the one that was supposed to come before it on Friday?  If so, that's a terrible way to start Grimm off after releasing it from the Friday night dungeon.
