In Canada they usually only give a local anesthetic, which is safer for the woman.  Personally I think it would be horrible.  :(  But I have a friend who got one, and she wasn't traumatized by it, so maybe you're a little bit out of it from the local?

Agree.  She's already carrying her second sitcom, and she spent 10 years on one of the most groundbreaking sitcoms of all time.  She's getting into, like, Lucille Ball territory in terms of famous women comedians.  Amy Poehler is not there, although she could be in time.
