Yeah, the actress is older but I read somewhere that she wears bands on her chest to hide her breasts, a la Tootie on Facts of Life.  The show is really good at little details, so I can't imagine them having visible breasts on Arya.  But I did think I noticed them too.  Maybe it's just that those jerkin-like tops they

@avclub-b957e6a926dd9b40e942e4f1e6ecc005:disqus Oh yeah, you're right!  I totally forgot it was just two randos, I was thinking it was Littlefinger who made that joke to someone.

Were ravens actually ever used in the real world as messenger carriers?  I think only homing pigeons were, and the reason it worked is that homing pigeons will always fly home.  So if you want to send messages to someone, you have to physically go to their place and get a bunch of pigeons that were raised there.  You

@Letoll:disqus He's into sadism though, so this might have been better than sex for him.  Did you see his face when that Kingsguard guy was about to hit Sansa with the sword?  He was totally turned on.

Maybe he believes that she can do magic, but thinks it's a dark magic and not from a good god?  At least I assume that the Lord of Light is supposed to be "good", since Stannis thinks he's so moral.  He's not the type of guy to go in for an evil god.

And about Joffrey, does anyone know why the Marquis de Sade was so into causing pain?  Or Vlad the Impaler?  Could just be that some people are born that way, and Joffrey happens to be one of them.  Might have nothing to do with upbringing.

Stannis might only have known that Melisandre was going to do magic.  He may not have known what.  She's always in those robes so maybe he didn't know she was "pregnant".  We just don't know at this point how much Stannis knows about what she can do.

Does it give a predisposition to mental issues?  Maybe that's it.

I thought I noticed boobs as well, when looking at her from the side.  But it must have just been the way her shirt fell, because Arya would have been smart enough to realize that she has to tie them down.  Also, isn't she pretty young to be showing?  She's like 9 or 10, isn't she?  Her older sister's only 12 or so,

Ummmm, spoilers?  Sure sounds like it.  Did you mean to post this in the experts thread?

Maybe the old Frey dude will die and they'll be able to offer something else to the Frey family.  Cuz I don't really see Robb marrying some hideous half-peasant chick.

Not a spoiler, I've never read the books so I can't.  We've seen his brother, I didn't actually know his name, but I found a pic from the show:

I don't think being hit hard by that thing would qualify as "just" being beaten some more.  Joffrey is the kind of sick fuck who would make them keep going until skin breaks, possibly bones break… also, did anyone else get the feeling that he was having Roz not only beat her, but beat her to death?  And then send the

They just couldn't fit Sean Bean in there.  He's not a contortionist, people!

What a fucken jackass that dude is.  Especially when he knows he's got old Ned's bones out in the hall.  What was his plan?  She's like, oh yes Petyr, I've been waiting for this for years!  I'm so glad you betrayed my husband who I loved!  And then he's like, great, baby, btw here's his body.  Now let's do it!

No wonder everyone else thinks he's such a dick though.  I'd go with Renly too.

I was almost sure it was, but the lack of a french accent made me go check.

A character who talks only in second person would be awesome.  Not even Varys would be able to figure out what the hell he's talking about.

Maybe the brotherhood is a bunch of people who are sick of all this kinging shit, and want a democracy for once.  Would be interesting if that's the case.

I thought that Jaime replaced Selmy as Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, which then left a "regular" Kingsguard spot open, which was given to the Hound.
