Jim Henson and Fred Rogers are the only celebrities I've ever cried over. Footage from Henson's funeral still makes me tear up. He was such an amazing human being.

Sitcom, nothing. This is Katherine Heigl's Oscar vehicle.

Jeff Bridges can do anything.
But I seriously wonder if the director/producers of this film have any real idea of what kind of movie they're making if they think Zach Galifianakis and Jeff Bridges have similar film presences.

Real sugar is nowhere near as bad for you as high fructose corn syrup, though. Just sayin'.

I really want to watch this
I recently read Sunnyside by Glen David Gold, which is a really good book of which a large part is about Charlie Chaplin and the making of Modern Times. I really recommend it.

I've had enough of your space age techno-babble, Attila the Hun!

You were warned!
NOW! THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC! is a machine designed to crush souls! You were warned! Now you finally know the truth of hopelessness and despair!

Somewhere
Jason Todd is frowning and shaking his head.

This is the tale
…of Captain Jack Sparrow!

I really, really enjoyed this piece. Brilliant work.

Episodes I'd like to see:
Seth MacFarlane
Guy Fieri
Dane Cook
Shia LaBeouf
Michael Cera

Mangled the best line of the night.
"He needs to rest. To love. To laugh. And who he finally does decide to take to the altar, she's going to ground him."

Seriously, that show looked baller. I don't know what's wrong with TV executives.

You can't stop ponies.
I look forward to the TV Club recapping episodes of Friendship is Magic once season two starts.

You vultures!
Sitting here and cackling, watching this innocent man's trailer get towed! I hope you're happy!

He's hilarious on Saturday Night Live when he shows up. His appearances on that show gave me newfound respect for him before The Social Network even came out.

Personally
The news that Glee did a cover of "Friday" is the most unbearable thing I've heard in the last week.

It's like someone decided that mayonnaise ought to taste terrible.
