I can't remember what episode it was in, but, in addition to the Dan Harmon cameo, did anyone else happen to notice the bag of Lets potato chips? I'm pretty sure George Michael was eating them somewhere on campus.

I was really hoping for a nod to Party Down during Ben's catering plot, but alas, no dice. Still, the physical comedy with the phone was more than enough to make up for any shortcomings this episode had.
NBC/Sony had issues with Harmon other than his relationship with Chase. That's not to say that they didn't care about the attention their spats were drawing, but it wasn't as big a deal as Harmon going over the budget and not meeting deadlines.

Yeah, I can understand that. It might have been nice if they pushed each other into a new direction, so I see how that could be considered a missed opportunity. Still, even without forcing themselves to branch out like that, they put out one excellent album, and I am more than okay with that, haha.

Didn't Byrne say he was originally the beast since he was older and Annie's so pretty, but then they decided it'd be fun to switch the roles and play with the prosthetics?

I don't get why anyone would necessarily knock the album for not being surprising. I came for David Byrne and St. Vincent, and I got David Byrne and St. Vincent and I absolutely love the result. This is arguably my favorite album of the year so far.

I'm pretty sure she only did it in that once scene. It's like she knew he had her figured out, but couldn't break completely because she knew he wouldn't be able to prove it. In the office, she just sat down and had that "oh shit, i'm finished" sort of defeat on her face because he had evidence.

So in the end, Michael invented a new reality in which he could live with both Rex and Hannah? That's a bit of a sweet ending for him, but what of Rex, left in the real world without either of his parents?
