Well done.

Betty breaks bad (in jest):
- I'll hold her down while you rape her.

Matt Weiner addresses that in an interview posted April 8 or 9.  I posted the link and my reaction to it somewhere in this forum yesterday.

Smoking openly in front of adults at that age, at least in my circle, was taboo. But more importantly, it was her having previously visited St. Mark's and admiring that seedy squatter lifestyle (which was not at all romantic, like that of the more privileged hippies and rebels at the time), and some other more subtle

re: Giving the expensive camera to the doctor

Speaking of dollars and cents, we know from Lane's death that If Don were to take a powder (or pretend to), SCDP would get at least $175,000 in key man death insurance benefits, and Megan and Don's kids would split Don's partner's investment of $100,000 or more over five years. I'm wondering if Don might do some sort

Remember last Eastertime when Marie was visiting, Megan's reel was rejected, and a drunk, depressed Megan told Don she needed him to sleep with her because that's all she's good for? I think Don can relate to those feelings.

I am happy for her, though.

I'd forgotten Faye was "connected". Interestingly, Don used Faye's business contact to get ahead much in the same way Megan used her connection with Don to land the shoe commercial.

Interesting observation!

OK. I'll look for that on my rewatch. I was under the impression that Betty's scarf was a neutral color, but she'd doffed Sandy's blue scarf upon arriving at home.

@SurpiseMob:disqus : I like Ginsberg's accent; it does seem realistic. I think the only reason it seems over the top on Mad Men is because it contrasts with the other characters' accents.

He could move to Tibet and become the PR maven for the Dalai Lama.

Dow had better watch out -

I wouldn't be surprised if Sal turned up again now that Megan's acting in soap operas and commercials, and Sal's proven himself as a capable director of commercials.

I like the various plays on the word "jumping off" or "jump off":

I made similar notes above, about Sylvia's outward trappings of being a practicing Catholic, but her lifestyle belies her beliefs. In contrast, Peggy, who was "raised Catholic" isn't a hypocrite.

Nice catch!
