Notes: Meta satire= bullshit newspeak for "I don't know what it is but I think it's clever"
Last Day: it's part of his back story and gives us several wonderful scenes—those with the captain are especially effective, as well as the entire subplot of Prendergast's wife "falling apart" so what's the problem here? You

further Re: stereotypes: what I find that angers me the most is when the stereotypes ring true. I was raised to not believe in stereotypes of any kind, to look beyond the skin and beliefs of people, but when the stereotypes just come up and slap me in the face: a white woman with her head so far up her ass she

Agreed. 15 minute cold open and no dialogue culminating in an explosion and siren wails: pure badass.

Telefon: soundtrack by Gaga?

The parties mentioned all suck a fuck
As examples of parties that do not suck, I include this list of parties I will always aspire to take part in:
1. The ritual orgy in Eyes Wide Shut
2.The introductory party at Z-Man's in Beyond The Valley of The Dolls
(definitely not his private party, though)
3.The orgy in Conan

HAHHAHAHAHAHAAAA!
To all those who tried to pretend this series was anything: IN YOUR FACE!

Micheal Rooker needs to be in this, Walton Goggins would work as well.

On the Runway…
Never thought twice about her, but then one day I saw a rerun of MadTV. I know that'll lose half of whoever's reading this right away. Sandra was on and did this weird cabaret song about Gianni Versace AFTER he'd been murdered. Like it had originally aired a week or so after the shooting.

Whatever
James Ellroy already broke this case back in the 90's. Read "American Tabloid". You're welcome.

Nope
The review doesn't really seem to match the grade. Not that I care about the grade. It helps to be able to delineate all the ins-and-outs on this one. I'm still trying to decipher Unser's motives as well as just how these guys are going to thwart the Mayans. It's all pretty nebulous to me.

Hey Tobias…
If no one else corrected you : the man's name is Alex Winter, not Bill S. Preston, esq., ya mook.

Just read a great interview with Lauter in the latest Shock Cinema. About working w/ Bronson, he said "He didn't like a a lot of dialogue." Lauter characterizes himself as a "turn actor" the kind who plays characters that signify changes in story direction… Really good interview, plus he's from Long Beach, Long

Alright. I'm glad Tom Byron's still pumping them out. Last moive of his I saw was Tom Byron's Cumback Pussy. Then the internet happened.

Stone Haters
Can suck a fat dead dog's dick!

King looked a lot like Brad Dourif for a second in the basement. It was the cold crazy ice blue eyes and greasy gray/black hair. Just for a second I had to get right up close to the TV. Then the similarity passed.

Could it be possible…
That Orson Scott Card is the hack that I've always assumed he is?

@ Sir Osis:
That sounds painful, have you been to a doctor to get that condition checked out? Can you not control the arms throwing and saying of "Ayo"? It's really nothing to celebrate, and if it continues to persist, I can predict a decrease in the probability that you will "live your live", whatever that might

Yeah, that's what I thought.

I guess it's just me
But I Did not find this to be good at all. Just a bunch of tired themes that have been done better elsewhere. That always seems to happen when Donal Logue is in a project. I think it has to do with 2nd or 3rd rate material getting 2nd or 3rd rate actors.
