Did anyone else enjoy that random moment when Penny leans over to Alex and starts whispering to her and Alex looks really startled? It was hilarious, I watched it a few times over. For all the talk about over-exaggerated mugging surrounding this show, there are a lot of great moments it doesn't even call attention to.

That would be CRAAAHHZAAAHHH-crazy. I should have just said crazy.

Didn't love the Dave plot but I rarely do. The moments you mentioned were really funny, and the conclusion to it where there's supposed to be a moral - "That's deeply offensive" - kinda redeemed it for me.

Just finished watching this week's Happy Endings. I was worried about the whole Real World/flashback conceit but it was actually kept fairly low key and the episode surrounding it was pretty much every bit as hilarious and charming as usual. It was very much like a Friends Thanksgiving episode, only with Happy Endings

The episode was a little bit dull, especially for one heading into a three-week break, but I certainly don't think it deserves the lowest grade of the season. There was a lot that was good here, and I'm becoming very impressed with Josh Jackson's performance in particular. I can't wait to see him go full-on Observer.

Glee's "Duets" got an A-, and the following episode "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" got an F.

If I had to wager a guess on Point 2, it's that they didn't know if Letters of Transit was going to end up being a one-off episode, so they ended up deciding to blow their wad on that instead of taking the chance of doing the slow burn from Daffy Walter to Srs Walter, which ultimately must have been their S5 plan

Personally, I loved this episode. I thought it may be the best of the season so far. It was a little slight, I'll give you that, but it was certainly unique and I haven't been this excited or surprised by the show in quite a while. The whole setup of the pocket universe, the glyphs and L'il O (love the name) had me

I think it's likely and I'm excited to see where it goes. And yeah, despite my comment, I really really enjoyed last week's episode and I'm even more pumped for tonight's.

I would say so. I mean, it didn't seem too much to hope for from the title of last week's episode that we'd get a September flashback, but here we are.
