I would say so. I mean, it didn't seem too much to hope for from the title of last week's episode that we'd get a September flashback, but here we are.

It is pretty great how the only legitimate jobs in the world require extensive math and science education, isn't it? Yeah. I like that that's how it is.

I am dying to take a course on Buffy but apparently my university is too "legitimate" for that. Phooey.

I'm having a lot of trouble reconciling the idea that Peter may be the first Observer with the whole plot of the Observers trying to keep him erased last season. It could just be that they're ignorant of their own ancestry, but that's not really all that satisfying.

Hahahaha. Oh man. I don't even know what to make of this but I have a huge smile on my face so I guess it worked.

Defeating the Observers with Fringe events would have made for an absolutely kickass finale concept. It was awesome here, but I would have gotten chills x2 if it was closer to the end.

Did someone say Amy Acker? Yes?!! Someone involved in the production of the show??! Oh.

I thought this was a great episode, and I'm going to chime in and say that I fully support the "Max misery-ing Penny" storyline, if only because it produced that amazing scene where Penny begins to pass out and Max gets to make crazy eyes and speak like how I imagine his evil twin brother Thaddeus must sound.

Wait…what?

I think it mostly just feels improvised because the actors have such great chemistry and delivery. Some of the quick beats don't feel like something someone would actually bother to write at all, which is what makes them so great.

The Happy Endings premiere aired in Canada on Sunday, I believe. I watched it online and it is fantabulous. I can't even articulate how happy I am to have this show back. It lights up my world like nobody else.
