Loved it, definitely one of the best of the season. I had a few problems with some of the logistics of certain scenes, but that's the kind of thing I learned to tune out seasons ago.

Yes! Do it!

Two more notes:

Ugh, god, just thinking about A Hole in the World makes me so sad I want to cry. "Why can't I say?" just gets me right in the gut. Oh gooooddd what is happening to me

@avclub-e57f718840a576abbb40a7d046c4e3b0:disqus Well, I can't argue against your ignorance of common names. Maybe NY has some kind of law against Carlys or something. But trust me, coming from the obviously free-er country of Canada, that Carly is a pretty common girl's name (and an unheard of boy's name), so you must

Yes, I'm pretty sure this is the case, at least as Lance Reddick put it. They certainly didn't film two entirely different episodes for the two scenarios.

@avclub-e57f718840a576abbb40a7d046c4e3b0:disqus Yeah, except Carly is TYPICALLY a girl's name, and Stevie isn't (well, maybe for that spelling, but otherwise). And it's hardly an uncommon name.

That's the one!

I can't fucking stand that song, or any of the dozens of others that sound like it. Sound like a hooman (or at least good), or get out.

I remember Carly Rae Jepsen having a song a few years ago that was pretty big (at least up here in Canada, and not as big as CMM), but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. Oh well. If only there were some kind of engine by which to search this internet thing for specific information…

I would love the video a million times more if he was a neo-nazi and he tried to recruit them all at the end.

How many guys do you know named Carly Rae?

Wait, what the hell? You know Carly Rae Jepsen isn't a guy, right?

Call Me Maybe is my semi-ironic-"look-I-can-like-crappy-mainstream-pop-music-too"-but-not-totally-seriously JAM. It's super catchy but not nearly as annoying as other songs that can justifiably be liked because they're "catchy".

Same with me. Within a year it went from show I'd never think of watching to favorite of all time.

Decent episode. The Dr. Spaceman bits where he introduces himself as a Nazi Doctor had me laughing out loud.

Oh god, I got a knot in my stomach just reading those Angel episode titles too. Now I'm all sad. Damn it.

I certainly don't think anybody was saying otherwise.

WITH ENTHUSIASM AND GLEE!

Ok, I definitely remember that happening, but I don't remember thinking anything of it. Maybe it's because I was so caught up in the speech. What was that all about?
