I've noticed "Donnie Darko" plays an awful lot better if you watch it after both "Harvey" and "It's a Wonderful Life"…

I was just about to mention "The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Cut"! No, I don't care that it isn't technically a director's cut.

I wonder if Don Bluth needs to knock back a few pints and stare at the ceiling for a while after being reminded of the many and sundry "Land Before Time Sequels". I wondered this because apparently one of them involves dinosaurs who are really aliens.

I hosted a cookout last year that was rained out soon after all the guests arrived. The party moved indoors and we all wound up watching "Mac and Me". A bunch of people were too young to have any memory of it and were in a perpetual state of "What are we even looking at here?"

My "favorite" part of the Merida doll ad is when they just straight-up spoil a plot point that the trailers thus far had gone well out of their way to avoid even mentioning, outside of a sight gag or two.

Dude, "Gone, But Not Forgotten". Heck, the last three episodes if we're going this far.

I'll see "The Festival of the Bells" and raise you the "Manny's Land of Carpets" episode.

Simply put "Fraggle Rock" is the end result of Jim Henson being on a long boring plane ride sometime in the early 80's and saying, out of nowhere, "Hey, what if we made a children's television show that promoted peace and global understanding?"

In the same way I wish they'd just film the John Sayles script for "Jurassic Park 4" already, I wish they'd just make the Zappa-involving "Fraggle Rock Movie" already. I mean, it's extremely likely to be a childhood-destroying mess anyway, right? Might as well at least make it a *fascinating* mess.
