In _Unearthing The Dragon_ (fascinating book, by the way), one of the American scientists in Liaoning Province is rather horrified to learn that the old joke about how "dinner in rural Asia is anything that wasn't able to run away fast enough" is kind of true.

I am honestly not sure if you are serious.

"Please, no more drama."

Hell, don't they still have those gender-segregated Happy Meals?  Like boys get a Hot Wheels car and girls get a crappy tiny Barbie?

I am glad that I was not the only one confused on that point.

At least Fiona has given us two totally dickish Charades clues.

"you can't say 'Superman's powers', because that's lame and it's like asking the genie for more wishes."
With this in mind, what are your feelings on powers that involve transforming into different things?

I was going to clarify that the humans weren't the one reason why the first "Ice Age" was good, but oh good lord, do I love your Good Xenofiction Test.

And to avoid the Carnivore Confusion issue, there are just big piles of fresh meat lying around…

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  The writers of "Terra Nova" understood less about life in the mid-Cretaceous period than the writers of "Dinosaur Train", which is a children's cartoon about dinosaurs riding in a f***ing magic train.

You know, they haven't even acknowledged humans since the first movie in the series.  And, perhaps not coincidentally, that's the only movie in the series that's worth a damn.  Hmm…

Okay, now that there's not even the possibility of another ridiculous Will Smith theme song, what exactly is the point of this movie existing?

I was "warned" by several
movie review sites/podcasts/etc. I like that the final scene will make
you sh*t yourself. I was not expecting the same for THE ENTIRE REST OF
THE MOVIE.

The "Alien" Quadrilogy

A) Rule of thumb: do not do drugs and watch a Darren Aranowski movie.  Seriously, what were you thinking?

The way the movie ends is pretty sickening too, but for different reasons.

The only problem with Kindertrauma is the constant bombardment of images that make the header image for this article look like sunshine and puppies.  I could deal with the old, actually useful Nightmare Fuel page on TV Tropes because it was text only but, well, TV Tropes.

Oh, I agree, it was outstanding.  My whole family was saucer-eyed throughout and afterwards mom asked, "So, like, WHO won Best Actor this year?"  But it is as close as you can get to watching somebody have a full-on mental break on film and I thank the gods old and new that I didn't happen to watch it by myself.  Oh

Probably because, with all the sugars and acids, bad fruit puts up a hell of a fight on the way back up…

Aside from the fact that maybe 13-14 is (on average) maybe too young for most of _His Dark Materials_, I'd love to know what in the book set you off?
