I'm Enjoying This
Man, Chris Martins gives absolutely everything an A, but can only muster a B for this. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Martins is right on the ambitious part, and it's something I've always enjoyed about Trail of Dead. Most people didn't like So Divided or Worlds Apart, but I thought they did a great

You know, this is why I love Mr Murray's write-ups. I've never seen the show, but I can still appreciate it (or, um, not) based on this write-up. Also, he's even-handed and fair, but when things need to be called out, he can be damn acerbic.

And what in the shit is a jarrow, anyway? Nah, I miss Phil Lynott. Despite being about killing your philandering girl's lover, that is one feel-good tune.

Mr Sloppy,
I was amazed to read that story and initially actually thought it was some sort of odd O'Flaherty joke. But man, I guess she made the most of a bad situation. I do admire people who are strong enough to do that. RIP, Ms Satana.

Oh. But where do the Oompa Loompas fit in?

You know, Yee Yee, half the time I have no idea what the fuck you're going on about, but I appreciate your presence nonetheless.

Mr Revenge, Need I point out Ian McShane's brilliant use of cocksucker?

Malcolm in the Middle really took off, though, once the dad started cooking crystal meth.

Smulders is good on toast.

Nope, this doesn't bode well. I loved the book as a kid, I must say. Plus, I have little spaceships swimming around in my bloodstream, so it's a bit like cinema verite for me.

Hey Ref,
The 'too highbrow' article is a few clicks up. I think your delightful dinner party banter is needed there.

My god man, way to ruin a weekend. Also, unbeknownst to me, I'm beginning to resemble a hipster more and more every day…

Man, they drink A LOT in Finland. I'm not sure we should trust them with our nuclear waste.

How can you look like a manly man in this day and age, when indie kids have ironically appropriated all the former symbols of toughness? Pipes, mustaches, fedoras. Next thing you know, they'll be rocking ironic pot bellies.

I honestly agree on the Blue's Clues. I wasn't sold on this series at first, as I have seen few of the episodes (or even TV shows) mentioned. However, I really think that Noel does a great job in general of offering fresh perspective and insight into topics, enough so that you don't even need to be that familiar with

Mr Holt! Thanks very much for the recommendations; I'll be sure to check them out. I know Xenakis but the rest will be new for me. Steve Holt!

I mean, 2.5 Men is bad and all, but really? Worse than battering women? Huh. America!

I feel like I've finally made it now that Caret has weighed in on my life! In answer to your question, my life isn't empty. It's full of pointless busywork and drinking.

Thanks for the quick reply, Todd. It seems to me then that the web/print divide has the odd effect of shortening commentary on popular topics and releases due to print length, while giving free reign to the less popular ones. It's not a criticism and just kind of interesting. It does give the chance to read a bit more

Length
I'm a bit curious about the length of this review. I'm not complaining, but it seems odd that a relatively minor release such as this (sorry if I missed some big Dark Skies fanbase) would get a lengthier and more thoughtful write-up than some of the bigger releases (I'm thinking mainly music here, as that's my
