Panicking Calmly

My God, I thought Rad Pitt was kidding about 'Fisting and God's Will', and then I clicked the link (which maybe I shouldn't do at work?). Church must be A LOT different than I ever envisioned.

No need to get snarky; I was just stating my opinion. I didn't know that I could get it for 69 cents, and I agree that pretty much any Amanda Palmer's worth that. Thanks Waaaaaaahmbulance.

I don't think we can, Mr Sloppy. Maybe 'Madridian Sandwich' is some sort of code for physical violence, in his world. I think talk of eating sandwiches gets the little guy all hot and bothered and he sometimes starts to get a little incoherent.

Sorry, Mr Police, Vorshtein left a long time ago. Actually, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Hmmmm….
That's disappointing to read this review. I only heard of this album recently and thought it was going to be a true follow-up to Who Killed Amanda Palmer. As much as I eagerly anticipate hearing a song about pubic hair grooming (?!?), and as much as I love the Dresden Dolls, she's always had a style that

I concur and found this very interesting. I live abroad and don't follow the AV Club TV coverage much (I don't have access to the shows), but this is a great idea for a column. O'Neal writes well (even when he's not being delightfully snarky) and I'd much rather read about these things than actually watch them.

That's a fair point. Really, we should all take into mind the erudite comments on the avant garde from the eminent scholar vagina pussy.

The relevant comments on here have been interesting to read. I don't really know much about the genre (I like some of the minimalists though) and think that experimental music seems like a prime candidate for a Primer or a Gateways to Geekery. It would help give some of us novices an idea of what to, um, experiment

Wow. Cera's Ballzzz really likes Michael Cera. It makes sense, I guess.

Raging Bear, I went to the Cheap-Ass Fucking Little Bitch school but dropped out. The final exams were surprisingly tough.
The grammatically correct messages in blood intrigue me though. Is that a step I should be taking to further my business career?

Hard isn't their strongest, but I don't regret owning it. I've always thought that 'Woman Town' has a really cool riff stuck on to a really shitty song. As for the new album, I like it alright. It could have been much worse. Damning praise, I know…They've done it before (and better) but when the formula's so good, it

Yeah, I looked at a mime once, and it was a big mistake. You think you can stop looking after just one, but then you just can't stop staring at the little fuckers.

Is Mr Shore Patrol okay? He sounds stuck. Nice mustache though.

Well, they told me I looked like the dragon. Except not animated. And ugly. Look on the bright side of life, Mr Dump!

I didn't know that, but I like it, fastandsloppy. It's a fitting send off to Mr Callas. Or not. I don't know any more. Still, godspeed.

Man, I loved it as a child. I still do. I got my nephew hooked on it for a while. I like new animation, particularly Pixar, but miss some of the silly (and delightfully cheesy) bits from older animated fare. It was very whimsical. Now, where's the whimsy? WHERE THE FUCK IS THE WHIMSY?!?

It was a classic of my childhood too, Mr SarCCastro. I didn't know the guy who did it, but still, RIP.

"Had I known she ate that before we got married, she might not be here today."

I agree Mr Baxter, but maybe we could have a happy medium? Fuck, let people say what they want about the movies they want. But hey, my entire life was defined by that one moment in Titanic - you know the one? - so take from my comment what you want.

Professor,
Thanks for the message. I understand and think there's a place for that. I just miss the place in literature for the mundane - the bits we don't think matter that do, the bits we ignore, the bits of everyday life that still affect us. I agree though; cliches become so for a reason.
