Ending that with "obnoxious grunt" got me laughing pretty good.

My girlfriend's dad asks people on Facebook to Google things for him because "he doesn't have the internet on his phone."

You have the punctuation of a 90 year old. Seriously, why do old folks use so many ellipses? And spaces before question marks. Was this how people wrote 100 years ago, like a holdover from the telegraph?

I was really surprised to see all the positive reactions to this one, for all the reasons you mentioned. Shocking Deaths for no reason, an unnecessary villain's origin story (when has that *ever* worked?), and some A Wizard Did It; it makes me forget that there were 40 other good minutes.

Did giving the Walkers an origin story just remove a big part of their menace for anyone else? They were scary because they were unknowable and alien, but now they're just a weapon made by people who can't control them. Yawn.

Lol by what, 2 seconds? He died *instantly*. Same with the other forced sacrifice of that Child - who could have just thrown the dumb acorn - and basically the same with time-travel-paradox Hodor. All three of them valiantly died in the name of Moving the Narrative and bought Bran roughly 30 seconds.

I *think* I used AdBlock Plus to do sort of a targeted blocking of parts of Facebook. I can't remember how I did it (google helped), but you can totally get rid of all the ads, all the recommendations, all the everything that isn't your timeline and navigation stuff on the left.

I didn't know it was so disliked really until right now. My friends and I watched Escape from LA over and over in college and it was always a huge hit. I guess I assumed it was the same for everyone.

An appropriate level of indignation.

Me too! I think that's one of the best bits they've done.

Yeah I'm genuinely surprised that Class of 1999 isn't way more popular around here. It's fantastic and entertaining on pretty much every level, and not even in an ironic B-movie way. It's just a good, well made movie, especially if you like the idea of 80s style punk ganger kids fighting killer robots.

Is that a really meta rhyming comment or just a coincidence..?

Thank you all for demonstrating exactly how all of this works. You have the silly off hand comment, the straight to max power response, and then the long unnecessary explanation. "The Internet: A Play in Three Acts."

This is the second trailer today with a dumb girl singing a song too slow. Is this a thing now?

I don't know why, but the trailer's song made me want to wad up my computer and throw it in the garbage. Blech.

Sorry, wasn't calling you a Brat! Just wanted to say it.

Brat!

For 18 grand I think I'd rather have that sweet, sweet Minimoog and Eight Voice (?) combo.

I JUST listened to that one on youtube the other day. Goddamn I love the bloodbath episodes. The ones where Vos just mispronounces everything (all of them) are always gold.
