Btw, was this the recap where people were wondering about the cursing and if there's more leeway on Hulu? Because I noticed that Hulu's Casual (which is probably overall slightly more risque than TMP but the particular episodes were similar considering the number of penis references on this one) carries a "For Mature

This is so true. My husband often says no one does a news story about all the perfect landings at the airport, only the crashes, and I think that's what's coming into play here. This is a sit-com. It's not Game of Thrones where there's a lot to analyze as far as the plot or motivation or possible future story arcs or

This was definitely my favorite episode of the half-season, harking back to season 1 episodes that took Mindy out of her element for a triathlon or a visit to a women's prison and were just fun. Loved seeing Dr. LeDreau again (Can we please, please have Annette and Dot too?), and I'm thrilled that they seem to be

I loved the lemon dress, actually, so much so that I actually looked for it online. So cool and springy. It is a $1500 on sale Dolce and Gabbana dress. I feel like she wore a similar dress in another episode.

Really? I'd be surprised because it's kind of a thing of hers to really super-low-cut stuff which can only be worn by women who are either 1) Sophia Vergara or 2) completely flat-chested.

Hmm, but Peter went to Dartmouth and is a dope, and the show portrays all the Dartmouth alumni as sexist partiers. The porn website guys were from Dartmouth.

Ha! True.

That s funny because I don't notice it on this show (I notice all the placements for Windows phones). Bones, otoh, is a commercial for Prius. It sort of works, though, because Brennan is a know-it-all who probably WOULD try to sell everyone on her car. I find it kind of amusing, though, and I guess it's the price

I wasn't counting you as a hater or the person to whom I originally responded either. You don't sound angry, and giving the episode a B- seems reasonable even though I might rate it a little higher. It's fine to dislike an episode or something about an episode or even find the whole season disappointing. I also agree

Doubt the High Sparrow will make it to the end of the season. I'm thinking he'll be the Episode 9 bump-off.

Recycling makes America look poor! It makes me sad that, since they filmed the episodes a month or so ago, they couldn't reference the current election. I'd love to know what Mindy thinks of Trump.

Fwiw, I think Lauren's specialty makes more. At least, I once listened to a doctor friend rhapsodize about how much money a neurosurgeon, who had just married a mutual friend, must have. So it worked for me that, out of the Peter/Lauren couple, he'd be the one to stay home. I hope they run with that.

The community grade is a B-. Once one figures in the usual haters, who would give any episode an F and probably didn't watch it, that's pretty good.

I do feel like she should stick to writing. But I can deal with her in small doses. They would have to drop Peter if they dropped her.

I love that they're making Peter/Lauren sort of parallel Danny/Mindy in that she is really sort of controlling too and Peter is a man-child, but they seem to be working it out. Love that Peter wants to be a SAH parent and will be, which Danny found ridiculous.

I loved that. Mindy is produced by NBC, of course. I really, really hope NBC knows what they're doing, scheduling Superstore opposite Big Bang in the fall.

Tim Daly, the actor who played Charlie, is 60, which is about 25 years older than Mindy Kaling. The character was portrayed as being a mature man, as he had a college aged daughter. Garret Dillahunt is 52. In his case, they don't seem to be acknowledging the age difference, but it is obvious, particularly because

Ne-yo is pretty famous. Maybe he just wanted to do the two episodes, like when James Franco was on.

I think the doctors' lounge they referred to is the one at the hospital, actually. Agree with you on the nurses' lounge, but they used to use Mindy's office to store Danny's bicycle too.

That was the case with the HBO series, The Newsroom. Possibly because it skewered the news because it skewered the news read media ( and also, in common with every medical or legal show in the world, didn't portray it completely accurately ), every recapper seemed to loathe it. It was kind of distracting.
