Well, of course Mindy likes chain restaurants. She has the right to chicken wings. Also I just bought a similar mix at Aldi. I think it's promising because you have to add your own cheddar.

Yeah I was going to mention those x-Ray and semen sample lines too! Tracey Wigfield is a great writer (her acting, not my favorite). No, LA wasn't the best episode, but it was really part one of a two-parter that included my favorite, The Desert. They just didn't have the big "To be Continued."

This wasn't as good as some episodes, but they're all good. Also, after that Game of Thrones, I needed to decompress. I will say I'm sort of getting a House, M.D. sense from this show, like "Ooookay, when are they going to make the brilliant discovery that will make it all come together okay," and sure enough, it did.

Yeah, I was figuring the next scene would be her being taken in by the authorities. I actually know two different middle school girls (in two different schools in two different counties) who have been suspended for saying, "I'm going to kill you" as hyperbole, so it could definitely happen. I'm surprised they were

Good point. I was thinking Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, but that show stunk.

That's probably true of a lot of people, but I would suspect that shows like The Middle, et al are pretty much the ONLY type of scripted shows people actually do watch live because they're family-type shows. Everyone's not going to gather around an episode of Bones.

I was just thinking, "It's good that ABC is building a Tuesday night lineup since obviously Fox isn't able to make anything stick there." I was a Mindy Project fan (still am on Hulu) and a Grinder fan. The only show of theirs of which I'm NOT a fan is the ONE they won't cancel, New Girl.

Okay, thanks for the confirmation. My daughter and I were discussing, "Wasn't she looking at colleges last year?" during the episode. She could go to college near home, but that would mean Beverley won.

Callback the the microphone squeal for Malcolm's last name in the series finale of Malcolm in the Middle.

CBS kind of randomly cancelled Mike and Molly when its ratings were similar to Mom and Two Broke Girls (the former, which is better and more acclaimed than M&M, but the latter is far worse), which they didn't cancel. So who knows? Obviously, nothing's totally safe unless it gets a multi-season renewal like The Big

She's 22. That's younger than pretty much all the cast of Glee (except Kurt, who was portrayed as a little wimp) when the show started. I feel like in high school there actually ARE kids who look 25 and kids who look 12. That's what makes it so darn fun.

They used to have finals where I live, and they recently got rid of them. Everyone acted like it was the dumbing down of our educational system (because, basically, you can average your first three quarter grades and figure out if you need to try in the fourth quarter), so I'm surprised to hear there are other places

There's also Fresh Off the Boat. I think their aim is to have two days of good comedies. They have some new shows coming too. I was a little unnerved by The Middle being moved, but I think it could be good.

It was great. I assumed he was going to stink because the kid talks in a complete monotone. I'm a singer and usually, people who can sing have some level of range in their speaking voice. But it was lovely, not as lovely as last year's finale with Sue and the yearbook, but that would be hard to beat.

I loved that she advocated for him. I have a kid like Brick, and I've been accused of being helicopter, but you just so much want your kid to have something they can point to as an accomplishment because you KNOW the kid is smart but, since they don't demonstrate it the exact same way as everyone else's kids, they get

True. The Goldbergs is burdened, somewhat, by having to provide storylines for three kid characters, whereas The Wonder Years was just Kevin's story. Wayne and the sister whose name I've forgotten were just incidental characters. That made it a very different show. This one is probably funnier. Wonder years had more

Fresh Off the Boat did a whole episode about Asian people with perms. I believe the title was, "success perm." Of course, that took place in the 1980s, when people got perms.

I don't get Adam Devine's character. I get the same feeling I get from Leonard and Penny on The Big Bang Theory — that we're supposed to feel like they have an equal relationship just because she is really, really pretty.

And you can go on comments sections for shows that don't do this and see tons of comments about "Why don't they use their supporting cast more?" Check out the review of The Mindy Project if you don't believe me. Lots of conspiracy theories.

I think they're building a Tuesday night lineup similar to their Wednesday night lineup with Fresh Off the Boat, The Real O'Neills, and a new show along with The Middle. If it works, it will be nice to have two nights since Fox can't get any of their comedies to stick on Tuesday. I suspect The Middle is going to have
