Every once in a while. The episode in which Paul discusses his own personal history was good, as was the interview with the detective who specialized in sex offenders. In the former, Paul said he had 100+ interviews that haven't been put out. I like the interviews with experts a lot better than the sad and repetitive

Jerry Lewis is a self-absorbed, maudlin, pretentious-and-pandering mimeograph of Rat Pack glamour but the way the MDA shoved him out the door was shameful. If they just let him keep doing it and smiled indulgently when he said something condescending about the handicapped, they'd have another one this year, even if

There's nothing wrong with War Zone, but they talked it up like a studio version of Riki-Oh. I got my hopes too high.

This podcast has returned to my "Listen Immediately" list during the past year. Paul has become a really good host. He's a lot more mindful of how the discussion is coming across to the listener. June's approach has really come together, too; two years ago, I was rolling my eyes when she started pontificating but now

I enjoyed it for a while but I eventually found it really forced. However, it's probably the best of the "Can you believe this shit?" bad movie podcasts.

Yeah, watching Chris do nothing but fills for the entire song is a lot of fun.

I'm excited about this album. Jay's their most consistently good songwriter and he always seems to get fewer songs than Chris and Patrick. I hope he packs a ton of two-minute wonders on his side.

Can we just fill out a form that recognizes AV Club (version 2.0) writers as college graduates and be done with 300-level Women's Studies drivel like this?

It's not the lack of Elliott's energy for me. Both she and Elliott were on the Rock of Ages episode. He spent most of his time trying to pull something funny out of her comments and there seemed to be a lot of office in-jokes. I can't imagine another great Stallone soliloquy arising with her in the room.

Hallie Haglun is always "delightful" on The Flop House? I feel like someone's gaslighting me.
